is the author of the plays Mates (L.A. Weekly Award and Drama-Logue Award for Best New Play), Paydirt, Desert Fire, Beautiful Dreamer, The Big Enchilada and Grand Junction. He also wrote the book for the musicals Paper Moon, Survival Crackers, Happy Holidays, Taking Care of Mrs. Carroll and Doo-Dah! (Stages 2004). His play, Scituate, was included in the Stamford Center for the Performing Arts New Plays Festival and recently had a reading with Tony-winners Robert Sean Leonard, Carole Shelley and Randy Graff. His one-act play"George Bush Goes To Hell" was included in the Access Theatre’s Last Chance Texaco Festival in July of 2004.
Casella’s newest play, The Irish Curse, was performed in the 2005 New York International Fringe Festival, where its received rave reviews and an award for Outstanding Playwriting. It has been optioned for an off-Broadway production and is scheduled to open in 2006. Casella’s work has been seen at such venues as the Pasadena Playhouse, Crossroads Theatre (Los Angeles); Ernie Martin Theatre (New York); Group Theatre (Seattle); Bailiwick, Theatre Building (Chicago); Paper Mill Playhouse (New Jersey); Goodspeed Opera House (Connecticut); Walnut Street Theatre (Philadelphia); Ford’s Theatre (Washington); and Bunkamura Theatre (Tokyo).
Current theatrical projects include: Free Money, a musical with collaborator Keith Gordon and documentary filmmaker Barbara Multer; a piece with director Alan Muroaka and actress Ann Harada about the infamous WWII radio announcer Tokyo Rose; and Jimi Slept Here, a musical memory piece with composer Steve Marzullo. Martin Casella has taught playwriting at the California Institute of the Arts and is a longstanding member of The Writer’s Guild of America, The Dramatists Guild, Screen Actor’s Guild and Actor’s Equity. |

is currently writing the scores for the forthcoming musicals, Little Mary, with playwright Michele Aldin, and Free Money, with Martin Casella and Barbara Multer-Wellin. He has also written the score for the stage musical version of the film How To Marry a Millionaire. Keith is an alumni of the BMI Musical Theatre Workshop and has been a featured composer in the ASCAP East Coast Pop Music Workshop. His songs have been recorded by artists including the Valli Girls (Sony/BMG), JoJo David (Arrhae Press), and Anne Marie David (Arrhae Press). He has also written jingles for numerous national advertising campaigns, sung by a variety of people including Diane Schuur, Valerie Simpson, and even Howard Stern. |

recently completed casting the Las Vegas production of Hairspray to open at The Luxor in February 2006 starring Tony award winners Harvey Fierstein and Dick Latessa. In March he will direct Martin Casella’s award-winning comedy The Irish Curse Off-Broadway. Matt is currently the Supervising Associate Director of the smash hit musical comedy Hairspray on Broadway, as well as for the First National Tour and Toronto productions. (He assisted 2 time Tony Award winner JACK O'BRIEN from the early stages of developing the musical that went on to win 8 Tony Awards, including Best Musical - 2003) Prior to that, he served as Resident Director for Disney's Beauty and the Beast on Broadway and for the national tours. Also for Walt Disney Theatrical Productions, he was Assistant Director throughout the development of the Elton John/Tim Rice musical, Aida in its World Premiere developmental production as Elaborate Lives: The Legend of Aida at the Alliance Theatre in Atlanta.
Other recent directing credits include: Disney's Beauty and the Beast at The MUNY in St Louis, The North Carolina Theater and for Michigan Opera Theater in Detroit, Dirty Blonde and Love! Valour! has worked in New York as a musical director, arranger, composer, musician and producer for over 30 years. He owns Dancing Bull Music and Waxtrax Recording where he produces and composes music for television and film, and for pop, rock, folk and country artists.
Most recently Jeff was the co-conceiver, orchestrator, vocal arranger and musical director for Almost Heaven... Songs and Stories of John Denver, which made it’s world premiere recently at the Tony Award-winning Denver Center Theatre Company, and recently played at the Promenade Theatre in New York. He received a Drama Desk nomination for his orchestrations for the Off-Broadway Musical, Woody Guthrie’s American Song. Jeff produced the Grammy nominated cast album of the Broadway Musical Doonesbury, which he also arranged, conducted and musical directed. Other Broadway work includes The Cherry Orchard at Lincoln Center, Gorey Stories and Into the Light. Jeff has written, arranged and produced music for commercial children’s educational products, including projects for Sesame Street, Berlitz, Scholastic and many other publishers. A native of Highland Illinois, Robin began her passion with theatre and entertainment in high school as an actor. She obtained a bachelors degree from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale; after which she taught high school music and theatre. She attended The University of Texas in Austin where she obtained a masters of fine arts degree in costume design and construction. Robin has designed over 100 productions of all kinds around the country. Her vast experience includes everything from Vegas style showgirls for Comedy Central to singing animals in the opera A Muskrat’s Lullaby to detailed period clothing in The IT Girl and Noel Coward’s Fallen Angels with a couple of Ringling Brothers and Barnum and Bailey Clowns in between. Along with her writing partner, Arnold S. Levine, Robin has written a book entitled “Patterns for Costume Accessories” a collection of over 80 patterns for period and contemporary accessories with complete instructions and illustrations of the finished pieces. The headwear chapter includes 12 patterns from baseball caps to mob caps. There are 22 variations of neckwear. company in Stamford serving Broadway, Off Broadway and National Tours from 1986 to

The one-night only performance showcased a star-studded roster of Broadway talent including John Lloyd Young (Jersey Boys), Josh Strickland and Jenn Gambatese (Tarzan), Gary Beach (The Producers, Beauty and the Beast), Mary Faber (Avenue Q), Amy Spanger (The Wedding Singer), Anna Harada (Avenue Q), David Burnham (The Light in the Piazza), Karen Ziemba (Contact, Steel Pier), and Kerry Butler (Little Shop of Horrors), among others. Van Hill Entertainment also co-produced a sold out run of The Mistress Cycle at last season's New York Musical Theatre Festival and received rave reviews from VARIETY, BACK STAGE and BROADWAY WORLD. Van Hill Entertainment produced last December's reading of Saint Heaven as part of the Theater Resources Unlimited TRU Voices Musical Reading Series and is proud to be producing the World Premiere this spring.
Cutter's recent projects as Associate Producer include the Obie Award Winning play Gone Missing (The Civilians: The Belt Theater NYC, The Gate Theatre London); Nobody's Lunch (PS 122); Question Love (2004 Fringe Festival) and with WET (Women's Expressive Theater), St. Scarlet (Ontological Theater) and Scab (Greenwich Street Theater).
Dean has written the book, music and lyrics for A Rose in Winter and is currently working on The Eyes Of Midnight. In 1995, he wrote new lyrics and arrangements of the Rodgers and Hart song, "Dear Old Syracuse" for Syracuse University's 125th Anniversary Celebration hosted by Dick Clark at the Carrier Dome stadium. Other past projects include composing the quintet "Stolen Youth" and contributing a song to Tada! Theater's musical review Everything About School (Almost).

Her work as a television studio technician led her to a 2003 Sports Emmy Award for her contributions to "SportsCenter" on ESPN. Barry was associate producer of The Irish Curse, by Martin Casella, at the New York Fringe Festival in 2005 and was associate producer of Eve-olution by Jennifer Krier and Hilary Illick at the Cherry Lane Theater in 2004. He is currently developing a stage musical version of the film, How to Marry a Millionaire, with music and lyrics by Keith Gordon, for which he has produced a staged reading at the BMI Musical Theatre Workshop. Mr. Goralnick has produced 3 staged readings of Saint Heaven including one at the York Theater. The show was featured at the Stages 2003 Festival in Chicago. Mr. Goralnick has hosted numbers from both of these shows at the Architectural Digest Cabaret Benefit in 2002 and 2003. He is one of the founding members of the board of the Edge Theatre, a group dedicated to producing new authors, that is now in it’s fifth season. He graduated from the Commercial Theatre Institute and is the principal of Barry Goralnick Architects, which was founded in 1985. Mr. Goralnick’s work has been published extensively in seven countries. His new collection of furniture and lighting under the Goralnick label was launched in 2005. |
